Richard S. Slaton is Principal with Slaton Properties, LLC, where he specializes in providing commercial real estate capital advisory and investment services grounded in trust, collaboration, and disciplined execution. With over 30 years of experience, my expertise lies in private banking, commercial real estate, and financial analysis and forecasting.

A CCIM Designee for over 15 years, I specialize in structuring thoughtful financing strategies, advising property owners and operators, and investing alongside the same capital we arrange. My work emphasizes sustainable value creation and community impact, particularly in affordable and workforce housing.

Prior to that, he served as Executive Director and Senior Banker within JPMorgan Chase Community Development Bank. Previously, Richard Slaton, CCIM, was Senior Vice President at Bank of America. Prior to joining Bank of America, he served as Director of Real Estate with MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority), a part of the Office of Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and Real Estate, which oversees the prospective development of transit-oriented projects.

From 2004 to 2015, Mr. Slaton worked as the Real Estate Investment Manager within the Real Estate Services Group at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. In his role, Mr. Slaton provided real estate asset management, investment management, and advisory services to clients of U.S. Trust and Bank of America. Prior to joining U.S. Trust, he worked as a Real Estate Development Manager with The Integral Group, LLC, where he focused on developing mixed-use, conventionally financed projects.
